WALKING
It is official, Luke is WALKING!!!! Over the past week we have noticed him standing up on his own and taking one or two steps and then falling down. Last night he was standing on the tile floor and then he just started putting one foot in front of the other and he took 10 steps before falling down!! We were both there to see our little baby turn into a TODDLER! He has been on his feet a lot today and it looks like he is getting the hang of walking. However, crawling gets him into trouble faster so he prefers that. This week he has also learned how to shut doors, open the toilet lid and climb up on things. None of thim compare to WALKING!!

1st, 1st, 1st

Luke started a mother's day out program Aug. 30th, it is Tue and Turs from 9-2. The 1st few times didn't go so well but we got our first happy progress report last Thurs.( his 4th time there). We have had several "1st" over the past two weeks.....steps (3 total), high 5, dada, clap, and 1st tooth. He hasn't mastered anything yet but he is practicing! So far teething hasn't been tooooo bad. We are still at the beginning stages and we are still hopeful that it won't be too bad, very hopeful!! Stay tune for a video upload coming soon.

Soccer Time
Soccer season is here! We went to our first game of the season in Sherman last weekend. It was nice to see Uncle Austin! Luke enjoyed cheering the team on and watching the big boys run around the field. Very soon I feel that Luke will be hitting up his Uncle for some soccer lessons, well he does have to learn how to walk first...Speaking of that he got a new walker toy which he likes to stand behind and push around the living room. He can also stand on his own for about 8 seconds. Also, I am not for certain but, he may have taken a first step last Wed. This could have been completely accidental but we will be watching and encouraging!! Oh by the way, if you want to see how Austin's soccer team is doing visit their blogspot..address is in our links section.
